In her role as Primary Therapist, Nicole Bifano assists in treating clients who are suffering from addiction, as well as co-occurring mental health disorders. Nicole is a Clinical Social Worker, who received her Master’s Degree in Social Work and her BA in Sociology and Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Science from Florida Atlantic University. Nicole has both research and clinical experience, including conducting qualitative and quantitative research, working in case management and clinical experience with addiction treatment, at risk youth and LGBTQ populations.
Nicole’s primary focus is to provide marginalized populations with a voice through advocacy and providing them with the utmost clinical, client-centered care, per each client’s individual needs, using self-empowerment and strength focused treatment. Nicole helps to build the necessary skills to enhance long term recovery and promote client’s self-determined success through providing a positive, supportive and safe clinical environment. Nicole uses a variety of treatment modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Expressive Therapies.
